an overall look with accessories. Looks very good value in our
opinion.
Evans
At
last Evans, the largest retailer of Plus Size in the UK, are getting
their act together online. Their website has greatly improved in
the last 18 months, and their clothes styles have too. Very good
value as well. We used to be very critical of them, but we have
completely changed our mind because of the improvements. We like their 2 new collections, Profiles for the mature lady, filled with classic staples, and Seven, for latest fast-moving fashion trends

Marisota we would class as the best 30+ yr old woman's
sites. Simply Be caters for the average to plus size, and their
clothes have flair, exciting designs and the latest fashion ideas
in our opinion. Sizes 12-34

& interest-free credit. Caters for the age 35+ woman in our
opinion. Go to the Woman's section, and then click on the Plus Sizes
16+ by SoFabulous. Loads of choice - last time we visited there
were over 230 items.
Spirito are not the cheapest boutique for plus
size clothing on the web, but in our opinion their Italian designers
have left better known boutique retailers like 16/47 far behind
them. They have flair, the sharpest fashion, excellent material
like angora, merino and cashmere in their blends and fabulous looking
finish. Sizes 16-30.
They have shops in Cowes and Bournemouth.
They also have free
UK returns, if needed.
NewNow is the clothing retailer for the young, age 25+ woman who wants cheaper versions of the Celeb fashions she has seen in Heat or OK magazine. NewNow have the very latest trends as they are happening, but at affordable prices. Sizes 12-32
Marisota is another site aimed at the young plus size woman. Their styles are more Yours Magazine than the Celebrity styles of NewNow, and more "contemporary high street" than the vivid colours and cutting edge of Simply Be. They have a very broad range of styles and different fittings, so definitely visit if you usually have trouble getting an exact fit or shape. Sizes 12-34
Although
most people think Littlewoods (UK) an 'ordinary size' retailer,
their ladies clothing in the So Fabulous range goes up to plus size
32. Free delivery and Free
returns for online orders, and now they have
INTREST FREE CREDIT too. Note* - Their site search-box doesn't
work for individual clothes sizes

Redoute
La Redoute are a clothing retailer from France.-
GOOD POINTS - They stock to plus size 30, with French flair and
colourful fashion ideas, and very reasonable prices.
Bad point- They have a search facility which does not allow you
to put in your size, so it's better to go straight to the Taillissime
or " La Redoute en Plus " section to start browsing.
Boden
are the fastest growing e-tailer of clothing in the UK for 4 years
running. Although not a plus size clothes retailer as such, their
wonderful, reasonably priced fashion goes up to size 20, and they
have size 20 in almost everything. We like their site. They stock
Jersey and Woven Tops, Knitwear, Trousers & Shorts Skirts, Dresses,
Jackets & Coats, Swimwear, Nightwear, Shoes, Bags & more
Ambrose Wilson have a really good range of plus
size clothing aimed at women age 40 to 55. Their styles are a little
more mature than, let's say, Simply
Be, but not as mature as Fifty Plus. Good value. Sizes 12-34
Another site for the mature lady, Chums have a very good selection
in traditional 'hard to find' dresses and full length coats. They
also sell the type of outerwear, underwear and nightwear that the
average 55+ yr old woman grew up with, all to size 28 at great prices.
LandsEnd
have a very good range of very reasonably priced clothing up to
size 30. FREE DELIVERY too. Be
careful though, as their website is based on their USA website
and is in US sizes. You find your UK size from easy to use size
guides, which are indexed from every page THEY HAVE A FREEPHONE
NUMBER TO HELP YOU. We tried it and found it excellent IF IN ANY
DOUBT, USE IT

Ward are one of the UK's favourite catalogue retailers. Now you
can shop on-line for stylish, quality but low-priced plus sizes.
Berketex clothing to size 26. Buy with confidence with their 14
day returns policy. UK shipping only
Very reasonably priced Plus Sizes up to size 28, although we think
last season's fashion line-up was more attractive than this season's.
Daxon's site is aimed at
the mature woman aged 50+. Their look is stylish, elegant and well
presented. Sizes up to plus size 40. Good value in our opinion.
Great for full length coats.LX
Direct have a smallish plus size section in their Women's clothing
section. We found 25 styles of top, 6 types of plus size trousers
and 6 skirt types, all to size 28, last time we checked. Good value
though.

is now part of the Home Shopping group. If anything, this change

fashionable tops at what we think are very reasonable prices
JD Williams
JD Williams is a site for
the 40 -50 year old average to plus size woman. A little extra maturity
to the fashion offering here than, say, Simply Be or Fashion World,
but with more flair than the elegant style of the FiftyPlus site.
A very large offering of fashion here from size 12 to size 34, and
with some limited selections to size 38
Fashion World
Fashion World is a site
for aged 35+ in our opinion, with younger cuts and styles, but without
the very bright fashion looks of Simply Be.

A really helpful site for woman's
plus size clothing. We find that the way in which they
display sizing info. under every individual garment makes getting
the right size so easy. Quality and finish look good too.
Curvety specialises in selling plus-size clothing and accessories aimed
at fashion conscious women who want to look fantastic. They provide
a fabulous range of trendy plus size clothing that looks great and fits
well up to size 36 in gowns/dresses, and skirts, and to size 30 in jeans/trousers.
Bras to 46G. Recommended for evening wear
Happichix
EBay store run by a size 24 lady, catering for up
to plus size 32, although most clothes are in the size 14-28 range.
Some plus size accessories as well as evening wear, casual wear
