Oct. 14th Abstract Blouson Top by Jasper Conran, to size 22, from Debenhams

I love the colour combinations of Navy, cobalt blue and the lime/chartruse blocking in this "J" by Jasper Conran.

As you can see in the photo it's a simple collarless design with a V slit at the front and wider bat wing sleeves.

The top sits neatly on the waistband of skirts and trousers (or jeans), with the looser blouson style coming out over the waistband.  Being a looser fit with wide sleeves I suggest wearing the top with pencil skirts or tapered or slim leg trousers (or skinny or straight leg jeans). This will narrow your overall profile and take away any appearance of 'bulkiness'

I am 5' 9" tall and I am wearing a size UK18.  The top is true to fit.  This top is another of my "easy care easy wear" finds.  It's machine washable and does NOT need ironing.  Once you have removed the top from the washing machine (after the spin cycle) just hang up on a clothes hanger and suspend somewhere where the air can circulate around it.  It will dry overnight.
